Anyone who has ever navigated a boat knows that if you do nothing more than set your initial trajectory, you’ll end up somewhere other than your target destination.
The same is true of your financial goals. When your money needs to last as long as you do, you need a process in place to adapt to the unexpected, and we’ve built that process into our comprehensive wealth management approach. That’s what makes CMG Wealth Management different.
Diana Brown started her career as a wire operator in 1978 and today she is responsible for client service and administration at CMG Wealth Management. Her remarkable depth of experience is most evident in her ability to understand personal needs, and to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for each client.
Though she has also held roles in back office operations, Diana has an extensive professional history in service positions, working directly with wealth advisors and their clients. She has been a licensed associate for over 20 years and first began working with Steve Engels in 2001. Outside of the office, Diana and her husband have two dogs and they enjoy travelling whenever they have the opportunity.

James Pacholek has been in the financial services industry since 2000. He held wealth advisory roles in two Fortune 500 companies before partnering with Stephen Engels to form CMG Wealth Management.
In 2006, James attained the Certified Financial Planner designation and began delivering personalized wealth advice as a CFP Practitioner. During this time he also led fellow advisors as a Field Training Director and developed an appreciation for the kind of planning and investing that can adapt to life’s changes. Like-minded in their approach to wealth management, James and Steve launched CMG Wealth Management as an independent firm so that they could focus on guiding clients through market cycles and life events with a disciplined process.
An active member of his church and local community, James lives outside of Dallas, Texas with his wife and two sons.
